My journey it's started from chengalpattu, (tamilnadu) my train is arrived at 10:30 am and booking a sleeper class because of this long journey approximately like 15-18 hours from chengalpattu to kanyakumari.
I was reach nagarcoil at approximately 9 am from that place we have reach Kanyakumari it's like around 45minutes from nagarcoil to kanyakumari, i prefer local bus because of friendly budget plan and best way to reach exact destination without any delay.
As a telugu guy I don't know tamil i understand little bit but i don't know what is written on bus so, i use this technique might be it is very helpful for everyone in every unknown places,
Simply open your Google translator and type kanyakumari and this is what we get ( கன்னியாகுமரி ) so, i simply written on notes and starring every bus to identify which bus is going to kanyakumari, after 3 to 4 fail attempts i finally get my bus
When conductor asking about my place i simply said drop me at kanyakumari railway station.

Like it is very budget friendly it's like just 5 dollar/night and i stay for 2 days so, it's not at all crossed my budget for this trip.

As per app i have to check in after 11AM but hotel staff is good at recieving guests so, they allow me to check in 1 hour before like 10AM, so i check in hotel and fresh up and start explore kanyakumari.

2. Bhagavathy Amman Temple
In beside of temple you can free check in and see the old museum type of statues and temples related things also you can observe old era of ornaments.

After visiting Museum on opposite side you see a mandap like structure it is belong to Mahatma Gandhi so, this place is called Gandhi Mandap.
4. Gandhi Mandap
On the memories of tsunami people kanyakumari tourism board made this tsunami park, where we can sit and relax and see the beauty of kanyakumari moments.

Tri-veni Sangam the name it's self indicate some 3 types of rivers combine one on another and reach Kanyakumari ocean, real fact is after reaching ocean you can easily differentiate this rivers on their original water colour.

After seeing both temple and statue just check the time like after 5PM only you can go to sunset point or else you can visit local market for shopping. Trust me your time is very well spent on buying local market items.
Sunset point is exactly 2 km from Vivekananda Rock memorial.
I simply walk the baybeach road to reach sunset point, after 6 pm you can experience the full red type of circle (Sun) sink in water one of the best memory when ever you see a sun you definitely recall your sunset in kanyakumari.

On the way of sunset point you came across a small building named as Fish Museum, where you can see large varieties of fishes, crabs, prawns etc.
12. Local Market (Beach market)
Kanyakumari is special fir its spices so, you can buy indian spice ingredients in very less price, and you also buy local made marble materials. Most of them are budget cost only
I took 1000 rupees home decorative related marble type toys and ornaments, Shankhh and some beautiful mirrors.
